The location was close to my family that we were visiting.
We were placed in the room under the stairway (Room # 252)....noises on and off all night. Linen wasn't clean, had to call housekeeping (front desk) to have someone come and change the bedding. There was only one waffle maker, which several young people were making waffles; therefore, I had to select something else. On the internet, it stated that the beds would be Double-Queen Size and they were Double-Full Size....misleading information on the Website.

Liked that it close to the highways and eateries.
They lied about receipts said they couldn't produce the receipts for rooms stays booked by Booked.net. NOW finding out that they charged my card twice and for a different price than was quoted seems Like a scam. Renters beware.

Great value! We were in town for a wedding, and the Rocky Mount Inn was perfectly suited to our needs. Our room was immaculate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities provided are just what families with children are looking for - wide screen TV, microwave, mini fridge, convenient parking, breakfast provided, and close to value shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay at this location again when we return to the area.
The mattresses could have been a little more comfortable.

Price, Location, Complimentary Breakfast, Staff very friendly and accomadating.
Breakfast hours now are 6am - 9am. I think the hours should be changed, not too many people get up that early, maybe 8-11. We have stayed at Rocky Mount Inn at least 5 times in the past year or two and will probably be more for the next couple of years cause our son is going to college in the area. It would be nice if they see guest visiting the hotel frequently to maybe give them 1 night free or sominthing.

Smoke smell in non smoking room (actually saw guests smoking in non smoking room next to us). Noise levels of other guests coming and going all night. Attitude of staff when I complained was just given a business card to call the manager
